A different point of view.

A small frame can change the way you see a photo. A few notes on finding your circle.

A photo doesn't need more things in it. Sometimes, it just needs a little less.

A circle brings your eye back to one thing: a face, a flower, a small detail you almost missed. The corners disappear. The subject stays.

Start with something ordinary

Your camera roll is a good place to begin. A photo of your dog. A friend laughing. Something you saw on the walk home. You don't need to take a new picture to find a new way of looking at it.

Leave a little breathing room

Try a crop that isn't too tight. Move the photo around until the shape feels right. Sometimes that means centering your subject. Sometimes the interesting part sits a little to the side.

There's no perfect crop. There's the one that feels like you.

Keep it simple

Start with the circle. Try a border if it adds something. Leave it out if it doesn't.

Rounder is a small place to explore those possibilities: circle crops, backgrounds, filters, and lenses, all on your iPhone.
